The Adirondack Saratoga Red Cross Chapter hosts its 11th annual “Battle of the Brews” presented by World Class Beverages. This event will take place on Friday, August 22, 2008 (Travers Weekend) from NOON - 4:30pm at the Saratoga Race Track. Participants/tasters will taste and judge 17 micro-brews. They will fill out ballots to vote for their favorites; People’s Choice awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Saratoga ThoroughBrews judges will choose the “official” 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place brew winners. Join the fun! You must be 21 years of age or older. The tasting fee is $25 and includes a 2008 commemorative glass.
